Hosted in Dar es Salaam, this five-day training brought engineers from the Zambia Road Development Authority (RDA), the Tanzania Rural and Urban Roads Agency (TARURA), Saba Engineering, ML Classic, and others under one roof. Their mission? To explore and master cutting-edge tools in Civil 3D and Vehicle Tracking 2026, key technologies shaping the future of smarter, safer, and more sustainable roads.
As Africa urbanizes at an unprecedented rate, its road infrastructure faces growing pressure. The continent sees a 9.5% annual increase in road demand, paired with a staggering $170 billion per year investment gap. Meeting this challenge requires more than just resources; it demands innovation, efficiency, and collaboration. This training dove deep into: Advanced roundabout design, Vehicle path analysis, Smart mobility planning, and Efficient highway and intersection design. Participants didn’t just learn software; they gained tools and strategies to rethink how transportation networks are planned, designed, and implemented in the cities and suburbs.
Each participant walked away not only with enhanced technical skills, but also with a prestigious Autodesk certification; a globally recognized validation of their expertise in advanced design tools of Civil 3D 2026 and Vehicle Tracking 2026. This certification is more than a credential; it symbolizes their readiness to apply cutting-edge technology in real-world scenarios. More importantly, they left empowered to bring innovation, efficiency, and sustainability to the forefront. With the ability to design smarter road networks and mobility systems, these professionals are now better equipped to contribute to solutions that reflect best practices while meeting the unique needs of their cities and communities.
Is this the beginning of our Autodesk training and certification in Zambia? As we push to establish our presence in the Zambian market, working with government institutions to boost technical capabilities is our top priority. This led us to initiate a partnership with Zambia’s National Road Development Agency, where our portfolio impressed the institution enough to send a representative from its Design and Research Unit to join our training in Dar es Salaam.
