AutoCAD MEP 2025 Training in Electrical Design Completed in Dar es Salaam
For the first time in Tanzania, the highly anticipated AutoCAD MEP 2025 Training for Autodesk Certification in electrical design has been successfully completed in Dar es Salaam this Friday! This marks a significant milestone for professionals in the electrical engineering and design community, and we couldn't be more thrilled about the results. A big thank you to all the electrical engineers who participated in this transformative week of electrical design. You've now acquired valuable, practical knowledge and hands-on experience in designing electrical systems for buildings, positioning yourself for success in the rapidly expanding electrical engineering industry within the United Republic of Tanzania.

Key Learning Outcomes from the Training
Throughout the week, participants learned essential skills in electrical design, covering both fundamental and advanced techniques. They gained hands-on experience in designing electrical systems from scratch, including power distribution, lighting, and other key elements, all using AutoCAD 2025. The training also focused on creating detailed electrical layouts and wiring diagrams, enabling participants to produce professional, accurate designs. Additionally, they mastered load flow analysis and voltage drop calculations, critical for ensuring safe, efficient, and code-compliant electrical systems. Finally, participants learned to create essential electrical documentation, including panel schedules and BOMs, ensuring their designs were complete, accurate, and ready for construction.

Real-World Application: The 3-Storey Building Project
To make the training as practical as possible, we used a realistic project scenario where participants designed the electrical systems for a 3-storey building. This allowed the engineers to apply everything they learned in a real-world context, preparing them for the challenges they will face on future projects. The training was led by Eng. TAKA Hubert, MSc. our Autodesk-certified instructor and expert in electrical design using AutoCAD and Revit MEP backed by over 9 years of experience in international projects. His guidance ensured that all participants not only mastered the technical skills but also gained the confidence needed to apply their knowledge in actual industry projects.
