Boosting Tanzania's Infrastructure Vision: InfraWorks 2026 Training in Dodoma
This past week, we proudly delivered a transformative InfraWorks 2026 Training to a highly engaged team from the Tanzania Rural and Urban Roads Agency (TARURA), Dodoma Region under Autodesk Certification. Over the course of four intensive days, infrastructure planners and engineers gained hands-on experience in modeling, visualizing, and simulating infrastructure projects using cutting-edge BIM technology.

Why InfraWorks Matters for Tanzania's Infrastructure
Infrastructure development is the backbone of economic growth; and Tanzania is making bold strides in building smarter, more sustainable transportation networks. However, traditional design methods often fall short in the early planning stages. The use of InfraWorks 2026 introduces a game-changing capability: it enables engineers to create 3D concept models that are data-rich, terrain-accurate, and visually engaging; all before entering detailed design. Whether it's a rural bypass, a bridge across a seasonal river, or an urban access road near sensitive zones, InfraWorks helps stakeholders make better decisions faster, enhancing feasibility analysis, funding approvals, and cross-agency collaboration.

What the Training Covered
The Dodoma training was delivered in a hybrid format; both physical and online; ensuring accessibility for all attendees. The curriculum, led by our certified Autodesk instructor and transportation engineer "Gapfizi Pierre", guided participants from foundational to professional levels. Starting from Terrain Modeling and Roads & Intersections, through Bridges, Drainage, and Site Context up to Visual Storytelling & modeling exchange. This training was not just about software; it was about enabling visionaries within TARURA and other engineering teams at large.
A Look Toward the Future
As East African nations accelerate infrastructure investment, tools like InfraWorks will become essential in aligning engineering creativity with practical planning. With this training, TARURA Dodoma engineers are now equipped to lead concept development with speed, precision, and clarity. Nziza Global remains committed to empowering public institutions, engineers, and planners with world-class BIM training. We're honored to support Tanzania’s journey toward smarter, faster, and more resilient infrastructure development.
