We are proud to share a significant milestone in our ongoing partnership with the Rwanda Energy Group (REG). This week, six engineers from Energy Development Corporation Ltd. (EDCL), a key arm of REG, successfully completed an intensive, week-long training in AutoCAD Electrical 2026 under the Autodesk Certification Program.
As Rwanda accelerates its efforts toward universal access to electricity, the demand for skilled electrical engineers has never been greater. By introducing engineers to the latest features and methodologies in AutoCAD Electrical 2026, this training ensures they can confidently develop and manage intelligent control systems, critical in power generation, distribution, and automation projects. From creating accurate circuit schematics to integrating real-time data across projects, these skills enable professionals to design systems that are not only efficient but also scalable and sustainable.
What sets this training apart is its real-world applicability. AutoCAD Electrical 2026 goes beyond basic schematic design—it enables engineers to work within a system-based design philosophy. Through automation features, error-checking tools, and integrated reporting, engineers can optimize electrical control systems with precision and speed. As this training was specifically for EDCL engineers involved in the Nyamasheke project, these capabilities are vital. From managing relay logic to PLC I/O configurations, they now possess the skills to streamline project workflows, reduce downtime, and deliver reliable energy solutions to underserved areas.
Earning an Autodesk Certification in AutoCAD Electrical 2026 is more than just a professional milestone—it’s a strategic investment in energy innovation. This globally recognized credential verifies an engineer’s ability to design, document, and manage sophisticated electrical control systems—skills that are increasingly critical as energy systems evolve toward automation and digital integration. Our big congratulations goes to the participants who made it happen.
