The world is rapidly evolving, with technology leading the way, and TBA is determined not to be left behind. As a key government agency overseeing the management, maintenance, and construction of government buildings across Tanzania, TBA recognizes the importance of staying ahead by embracing digital technologies. TBA’s decision to adopt Building Information Modeling (BIM) marks a crucial advancement in their approach to building engineering.
BIM technology, with its ability to create detailed digital representations of physical and functional characteristics of a structure, is revolutionizing the way engineers and architects design, plan, and manage construction projects. Recognizing the importance of this innovation, TBA sought out our expertise to ensure that their team of civil/structural engineers was fully equipped to leverage the capabilities of ProtaStructure 2024. The week-long training program was carefully designed to provide TBA’s engineers with a know-how of Structural BIM Design using ProtaStructure 2024. Throughout the course, participants were introduced to the software’s powerful features, including its ability to enhance accuracy, streamline workflows, and improve collaboration among different project teams. The hands-on sessions allowed the engineers to apply what they learned in real-time, ensuring that they gained practical experience alongside theoretical understanding.
At the conclusion of the training, the feedback from TBA was overwhelmingly positive. Eng. Khadija, Head of the Engineering division, lauded the effectiveness of the program, noting how it had equipped her team with the necessary skills to implement BIM in their upcoming projects. She also expressed particular appreciation for the powerful features of ProtaStructure 2024, highlighting its potential to significantly improve project outcomes by enabling more efficient design and analysis processes. The adoption of Structural BIM Practices by TBA is a confirmation to their commitment to innovation and excellence in the construction and management of government buildings. As they continue to implement ProtaStructure 2024 in their projects, we are confident that TBA will set new benchmarks for quality, speed and efficiency in the Tanzanian construction industry. We are proud to have played a role in this journey and look forward to continuing our partnership with TBA and other institutions as they embrace the future of digital construction.
