The regional leading University of Dar es Salaam, through its consulting office known as the Bureau of Industrial Cooperation (BICO), successfully concluded its second Protastructure training certification for Tanzanian civil engineers today, Friday, June 14, 2024. This initiative is part of the university’s ongoing efforts to enhance the skills and competencies of local engineers, which came next to the one we delivered in Morogoro region with the Institution of Engineers Tanzania (IET).
The training, which spanned 5 days, brought together a diverse civil engineers from across the united republic of Tanzania, who work as consultants directly with the university. The primary focus was on Protastructure powerful features designed for structural analysis, design, and detailing of buildings. This state-of-the-art training aimed to equip participants with the latest knowledge and practical skills needed to tackle complex engineering challenges and advance their careers.
Participants were shocked by the software’s robust capabilities for Building Information Modeling (BIM) design. The instructor provided comprehensive guidance on seamlessly integrating Protastructure with leading architectural software such as ArchiCAD, Revit, AutoCAD, and others. This integration allowed participants to import projects directly from these architectural platforms, ensuring a smooth workflow from architectural design to structural analysis and detailing without struggles.
